i adore dream theater. strange i know since i mainly listen to classic rock anyhow. a friend introduced me to them several years ago and i've been loving them since. the thing about their music is their lyrics. they are deep and complex and very dimensional. they capture the true essence of mankind. and their guitar is good too. they rock a little harder so if you like classic rock like me it may be a little shocking. but not all their songs are like this. watch this video:
