If I'm ever stranded on a deserted island, I'd want to remain stranded.
Maybe they like the idea of being away from civilization and they don't want to leave. I got to admit the idea sounds appealing at times.

maybe because when people said deserted island..........
people imagined about a dry and sunny places..
no water for them to use their boats
I usually bring a SAT phone and beer for my strandings.
i guess we're just stupid people
