All of these people saying TV, video-games, music, etc, etc are just plain wrong.
It's parenting, or the lack thereof. If a child is not taught that he or she is beautiful and accepted no matter what from the time they are toddlers, they grow up and can have issues reguarding this. It's the way they are parented (whether it be by a mom and dad, dad and dad, mom and mom or just one parent) that makes them grow up and listen to the angry rock music, abandon God, play the violent video-games, etc etc instead of caring about themselves.
If a girl is taught that having sex at a young age doesn't make her "cool" and rather to accept herself as is, then she won't be influenced by friends to have sex. And if a guy is taught that many sexual conquests doesn't make him a "man", then he won't try to "accomplish" them.
It's all in the parenting. People don't want to believe this, so they blame TV, video-games, music and so on instead.

The parents, becuz the parents decide what type of movies, music and friends are allowed.

defintely parents then a celebrity they are particulary fond of but my 9 yr old daughter is influenced big time by me and thatis why she is a sweet and caring girl.
