    what about King's Island? sounds good and it is a little nod to fellow author Stephen King who is from Maine and many of his stories are based in maine.

    Evilpeace--- sounds like a bad thing but turns out good.

    The towns I have in video games I always name NuJahland (religious reasons... Nu=New, Jah= Jehovah, land= the island or town.

    I wrote a scary story when I was younger and named the place Wraythe :)

    Have fun writing!

    I suggest finding a native American word from one of the surviving tribe members (they are few, but I think they are around) pertaining to the meaning of the islands to the natives.

    Let's say an Indian princess was in love with a man from an enemy tribe, and it was on this island that they pledged their love to each other, before running off with each other. Call the island, commitment, or pledge, or secret marriage, but in the Native Indian language.

    Many places in the US were named after the native American;
    Chicago, Manhattan, Michigan, Huron, (Maine?) so it fits.

    Imirage (I for imaginary, or the personal pronoun, since imagination is personal; mirage because it isn't real. You can claim it got its name from the fact that it seems to appear and disappear in the fog. Or the sky and sea, when they're the same color, make it seem to be floating, like a mirage.)

    Voodoo Island!

    LAND OF INNOCENCE
