All of these places are SERIOUSLY crowded. I would say California though because some places aren't particularly crowded and the scenic view is nice. There are beaches everywhere too! I would pick China because I speak Chinese, but life is hard in China.

C. NY because I love the atmosphere of NY city and I could retreat to the Hampton's during the summer months!

I've lived in California all my life. If I could choose a new place to live it would be New York has it has Movies great places to eat and the theater. I 'd like to get very active if I lived there. So much to see and do.
I wouldn't pick any of the above - call me homeless
California because it rarely has hurricanes and tornadoes.
