I hear you loud and clear. I remember when I thought it was funny to say 1995 or so on. now here we are 2008. Who would have ever thought that time would fly by so fast. HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
Yeah I remember when the new quarters came out in 1999 and read they would stop making them in 2008. I said wow, 2008 is so far away. Here it is and not that much has changed.

When I was little I literally thought that anything after the year 2000 would be something straight out of The Jetson's... We still got a long way to go I think, and not just scientifically!
I dont remember i think we would do much just go to the town clock tower and watch the bands play there

To see the year 2000 was a surprise for me. To see 2008 is a mind blower. To live past 1/2 century?? How do we explain the past to the present generation? But they need to know-and need to not make the same mistakes.

I remember in '69 I thought the year would end and start over again and I was just 6 yrs old at the time.
