"Oh, there they go." I was at work and sitting by myself in the corridor downstairs waiting for the change of floors (we switch floors every two hours). I thought to myself that I would know it was midnight when I heard the fireworks. Hence the quote above ... I was mumbling to myself.
If you mean to another person, it was when my colleague came out of the lift to switch floors with me and then my first words were ..... "I won't either." We both have streaming colds and as she came out of the lift, she edged away from me saying that she wasn't going to give me a kiss (as you do at this time of year)
