iPod's have calendar, note, and contact information capabilities. They also have a couple of games installed (solitaire, an arkanoid clone, etc.). You can also download iPod apps now, just search Apple's site for "iPod Applications" and you'll get a little list. I think there are also some 3rd party apps available, but I don't know if they run without changing the firmware on your iPod.
