A thick juicy steak that is deep pink inside and has been soaked in butter, seasoned with bay leaves, garlic powder and cracked black pepper. A little bit of lemon and A-1 sauce on the side. A beautiful potato, with lots of salt and pepper, filled with a mixture of sour cream, chives, and green onions. Yes, I do like steak and potatoes. Would you like some ?
I like potatos.........but a good juicy steak with it helps.

I like a good steak, but my favourite food of all time are potatoes. I can eat them any way any day. Here is a good easy scalloped potatoes recipe. I make it so often that I can't give you exact measurements.
4 or 5 potatoes, sliced thinly
1 onion, chopped fine
1 clove of garlic, minced
shredded mozzarella or swiss cheese (definitely not cheddar)
1 can of cream of ? soup, whatever your fave is
1/2 cup milk
layer potatoes, onion/garlic mixture, cheese in a casserole dish
keep layering until you reach the top
combine milk and soup and pour over the top
bake covered at 400 degrees for 1 hr, uncover and bake 10 more minutes if potatoes are not tender enough
I make this and bring it to parties or pot lucks or whatever and
everyone loves it and always wants the recipe.
It is easy and it tastes great.
I know I know. I always give too much info.
but you might want to try it if you like potatoes as much as I do
