Urine test?!
Question: Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone si tting on their BUTT, doing
drugs, while I work. . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though . . . Something has to change in this
country -- and soon!

I totally agree.
I was approached one day by a man outside of a fast food place and asked for some money because he was hungry and had not "eaten in days". I offered to go into the restaurant and buy him anything on the menu to which he replied that he did not eat fast food and wanted to buy some healthy food. My response was that I would meet him at the market just down the road and buy him groceries for the week, to which he replied, "I prefer to shop alone". In other words, the store he would like to shop at would be the dealer on the corner.
I too have a problem with my tax money going to help people that are not willing to help themselves.....

Actually you have a great point there!
It would be good that you are not paying towards public assistance to people that will use that money for meth and crack, instead of their poor kids and groceries.

What an amazing thought. I totally agree with you. I think a petition needs to be started. I know that would definitely cut a lot of welfare off for a lot of people if they had to pass a urine test. *brilliant*
My thoughts are that.. you have to much time on your hands.. and desperate to get your levels back cause you are asking some crazy azz questions today..
