I agree, CPS noses into some pretty petty stuff but does nothing with the bigger issue and they think they're doing such a great job.

Actually, since crime against children is so serious, I find they usually take too much action. You can't be too safe when it comes to kids so they usually do alot.
I find that if CPS is doing nothing, then there is nothing going on. Usually those people who complain are those over-dramatic people who exaggerate and claim to be molested, abused, etc but aren't. You know, the kind of person that is so sure that they are right that they haven't even considered for a second that they are wrong... they just waste our tax dollars for attention.
Yes, sometimes it is. But sometimes they are helpful. Unfortunately, when they are not, the results can be tragic.
