I have a great friend that is always very excited to celebrate his birthday. Yes, it is on Feb. 29th... He saves for four years and takes his family and friends to celebrate his birthday overseas and for a few days... He's a pro by now and his birthday parties are out of this world... Imagine, 4 years in the planning and with the smallest details thought about... I love all the surprised se plans for everyone present. He takes time not to celebrate his own but in reality, it is to celebrate his guesses...

My cousin and he only celebrates birthday every 4 years. :)
My very first boyfriend was born 2/29 (year escapes me at this point). I don't remember how he said he celebrated it when he was little). By the time i met him he we were mid teenagers and he celebrated it on the closest Saturday to the date. His mom would give him his present at midnight between the 29th and march 1st just to say she gave it to him "on" his birthday but the actual celebration was done whatever the nearest Saturday was.

Depending on what day the 28th or 1st falls on is when they(her and mom) decide on the birthday date for that year.
Yeah one of my friend's girlfriend is born Feb 29. She celebrates it on March 1.
