usually i give it to the person that was the most thorough, whoever said it first, or if one has like way less points than the other.

Toss up between whomever actually deserves it for having the best answer or for whomever makes me laugh...just depends on my mood.

I don't pay attention to who is giving the advice, I just pick the one that had the best response or lack there of which in no answer.
Oh it drives me nuts when people just click on the first answer to get the points - even if it's a bad answer!! If I do go and vote I always read through and choose the one I think gave the best answer. I don't have any contacts so everyone is on a equal playing field with me :)

kind of depends on the question. I guess all of the above. but for the most I try to choose radom people.
1) I choose whichever I find useful depending to a question....something I was looking for
2) If i can't decide, then I look for the one with the most thumbs up.... if I disagree.... then i'll choose my top two and flip a coin
