i never thought there even was a Santa. :o)
I was willfully ignorant of the fact that he didn't exist up until age 11. People would tell me he wasn't real but I would make up arguments that he was real.

This myth has different value in other nations, but the bottom line is the same. Gifts presented to those who believed in "Santa", were rewards. No matter what name "rewards" are given, the philosophy is the same. They result from positive behavior.
