I don't think it is heredetary. I think if you are lazy and so are your parents, you probably learned the behavior from them.

No, not hereditary. My parents are two of the most productive people I know. My brother - one of the laziest. Maybe their productivity enabled him to be lazy but not suffer....so not genetics, but possibly upbringing.
