it depends..i usually forgive..even if i tell myself that i shouldn't!
grudge for along time until I learn why...... weird really.....
Sadly I do. But it's bc I don't care to have people in my life that really betrayed and hurt me.
I don't hold a grudge for just any stupid thing but I do for the things that really matter.

It takes too much energy to hold a grudge. And it's not worth expending my energy on a person that would do me wrong. I guess I forgive, but I dont' forget.

i have been known to hold grudge for years and i am not easily changed. but these are things that are my choice and i believe in dearly nothing light about this. but its very few this would happen.
I don`t hold a grudge, if the other guy does, well, it`s his gut that`s churning, not mine.
Most of the time forgive, but can hold a grudge forever if pissed off enough.
People have 3 chances with me. The 1st chance they get is when they 1st meet me. If they seem like OK people,(ie NO druggies, crims, parasites, alcoholics, users, ego-maniacs, money-maniacs, etc (WOW!, doesn't leave much does it!)) they are welcome into my life, (and by the way, NO apologies to people my non preffered list, most of the rest of the world don't like you anyway, so why don't you go find another planet to fester on). Once into my life, if they then make mistakes that hurt me, or my close ones, once or twice, I'll forgive. After that, they are added to my "little black book" called " My List of People To Not Save While My Ship Is Sinking" The only way they can get out of that book then, is to do something about their sh!tty attitude to life & me or other people in general, and show a complete turn around. But most people who get into that "book", usually go on to far lesser things, and, thankfully, fade out of my life anyway. The only people I want in my life are honest, down to earth, gentle hearted, caring, un-selfish people, who are, unfortunately, diminishing in numbers in this ME ME era.
i used to hold grudges when i was little brat...but nowdays, no...if i have any, it would last few minutes the most...and i find a way to come to a good term....
