it was once said that all black cats were called familiars. they are to witches a kind of oracle to read from that hold special energy. they are also companions to witches. some people would believe that black cats are witches who have transformed into black cats to spy.
if a black cat crosses your path i think it means that you will have severe bad luck.
i love black cats they are beautiful. i have never know them to coz me bad luck. my fav was coo-coo i loved him.

It has always been regarded as so Jo although in the 17th century anyone with a black cat was regarded as a witch! I have never had bad or good luck with a black cat though. xx
