The truth is you can do almost anything and if you truly repent you could get into heaven.But if you truly want to go into heaven you should try your best not to sin(even though being perfect is impossible) rather than seeing how much wrong you can do without going to hell.
If you saw danger like a fire or tsunami, you wouldn't try to see how close to it you could get without being injured or dying would you?

It would be nice if there was a cut off sinning point beyond which you would be damned forever. You could do some nice sinning up to that point and then no more. Would the Pope tell us just where this point is?
