Nope, keep the photo. It gives you individuality that the cartoons just can't match.
If you don't like the one you have, change it. I'm sure you have others, no? Personally I like the actual photo avatars, but that's just my humble opinion. I'm used to the one you have, however; you've been asking q's regarding the one you have...so use the one that YOU think is best. :) Ciao.
