yeah I think it is the north star a cloud went in front of it

Yep, it was nice

it might be one of them lanterns that people send into the sky. They appear like huge stars then burn out. :)

Once I saw a star like that, it was obviously at night time of the day that my nan died!!

on a clear night we have huge stars...we don't get much light polution here, so we can see them much clearly....i have seen one that was really bright then it vanished....don't know what happened to it...but it just disappeared

maybe it was an UFO lol :)

Yeah

yup, it looks like a star. may be its a distant plane, or some say a UFO... or just because of the earth's rotation and revolution, and changing position, it fades away. it may also be otherwise, that it could be a planet which looks like a bright star, and because of earth's and the planet's movement, it fades away.

Could be a shooting star. I was at an astronomy show once, and the teacher said when you see an object in the sky, looks like a star then fades, its most likely a satellite

Why, yes! Yes I have. It has never affected me in such a way that I misuse verb tense though.

Yeah. It was so bright, when i blinked, it disappeared. Maybe it was a UFO or maybe it just exploded million of light years away.

yeh i did... it was beautiful

maybe it was a plane??

Nope

Have seen many stars falling , not fading, to be precise. how do you feel when you see it fading?

yeah but it did not fade!

Dude great question ..

It's Milkyway .. the spectrum of 3 stars which are so near and there light joins then blur seems to us .. n' fade away ..

I's also wondering what's that .. but as now am interested in Astronomy so I got my answers from space websites .. :)

They do not fade but get brighter... ;o)

yeah...I've seen that thrice in my life. The universe is so interesting. :)

what you probably saw was a satellite which when it spun towards the sun it brightened and when it spun away from the sun it faded.

yes and a few shooting stars, the stuff of dreams.

I have. it left me wondering what I had actually been looking at.

Yes
