Ice cream - but only because I love it - my Mum is really an awful cook!
Mashed potatoes, real ones, with lots of butter, and very creamy. YUM! (with Gravy too, of course).
There is no comfort food that reminds me of my mom she never could cook. Good thing I learned from my grandmaw!!!!
home cooked chips/fries she kind of burns them a little but i kind of like them burnt.

Oven baked pork chops in gravy with mashed potatoes and slow cooked green beans.
I have fond memories of mama's macaroni and cheese, and I always liked it. She used to put a lot of cheese on top of it. I also remember her good greens she cooked, her stuffing she made from scratch, and I used to love it when she made something with gravy. I could not wait for her gravy to get down so I could stick some bread into it and yum it up. Oh I have fond memories of that indeed. Mama's been gone for over 17 years now, and around Thanksgiving and Christmas I miss her cooking. Mama's resting in God's manifest presence without a thing to care about at all.
