Do you grow your own fruit or vegetables?!
Question: my six year old daughter wanted a garden 2 yrs ago and we planted corn, green beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, garlic, water melons, green onions, cucumbers,and banana peppers. the deer around here ate all the corn and the rabbits had a field day in the garden too, we have moved across the street since then and all we have planted so far is flowers, but the veggies and fruits are not far off, possibly this spring.

I started after my husband and I fell into hard times over the summer, and couldn't afford to buy fresh fruit or veggies. I grow them in the basement under special lighting, that a dear friend gave me for my birthday.
Nope. One of our family friends has a bunch of fruit trees, and they give us some from time to time.

used to have a garden at my parents house. Grew tomatos peppers corn watermelon pumpkins gourds herbs. but then i moved out and to the city... how hallmark

My nana and pop did and I have never had better plums, tomatoes or apricots in my life. Try it I think it would be fun
