Seatbelt. Not only do they save lives, it's the law to wear them up here in Nova Scotia. One of my friends lost two points off of his license one day for not wearing his seat belt, along with a nice big fine.
I wear one all of the time.

Seatbelt. For one, I am NOT paying a ticket because I didn't put it on. Secondly, I know at least three people personally that escaped serious injury because they were wearing theirs. Why risk fate and $50-$100?!
No seat belt until I got into an accident and my head crashed into the windshield. I've worn one ever since. Trust me, if I had been wearing one, I would have a lot less physical problems. You know what you have to do now.

I HATE not being 100% safe. I always wear my seatbelt, I never walk around in the dark, (Just last night I broke a glass because I couldn't see it. Now I want to cry.) And I try my absolute best to make sure there are ZERO mistakes in my typing.

seatbelt automatically gets put on before the key is turned. I have only know of one instance where the seat belt being worn was the principal reason the wearer did not survive the accident, compared to thousands who were saved because of it, or would have been saved had thye been wearing it.

For me, I prefer NOT to wear it....I know, sounds crazy -BUT- I just have this strange fear of being trapped in by it....guess I have watched too many scary movies...dunno.
Very Good question! My Bro-In-Law is the Coroner.There have been accidents that he has been to that if they would Have Not been wearing Their seat Belt they would Be Alive. Then He's been to Others and that's What Saved Their Life.
It's a State Law here.
What makes me curious is they will Give You a Ticket in S.C. for not wearing a Seat Belt, but You Can Ride Your Harley without a Helmet. I don't understand that way of thinking.
