Question: No, thank god my parents aren't like that. And I won't have "the talk" with my kids either. Sex should be something discussed freely and with honesty when it comes up on its own. How horrifyingly caucasian of us to withhold any mention of sex with our kids until one day when you muster up the stregnth to call your own child into the office out of the blue and subject them to this most mutually-uncomfortable experience of all of a sudden forcing the subject out of nowhere... as if the kid hasn't learned 99% of this stuff from tv or friends anyways! What a stuffy and traumatic ritual!

My daughter is 21. I had "the talk" a long time ago however, I am consistently providiing her with information surrounding 'the talk' so that she is completely prepared for the scoundrals out there that would entice her into sin.
