How did these two questions violate Y/A guidelines?!

Question: "Did your dog pass his polygraph?"

"People are always calling me 'saran wrap'?

Both questions were removed and I don't understand why.

oh those are funny.

unless Y!A automatically pulled them as either "chatting" OR "not a question or an answer" which sometimes happens, then i would say you have yourself a y!a troll stalker.
I've had one of those on several occasions. Every Q i asked got reported unnecessarily *sighs*. Just send an email to y!a asking why those Q's were pulled. IF they find it was unnecessary and you did not violate TOS/Guidelines, they'll restore them.

And to answer :
No, my dog did not pass his polygraph, but that's because they said he was trying to control his breathing during questioning because he answered every Q with a delayed bark. "Woof woof" for Yes, "Woof" for no.

And well, as per saran wrap.... i guess that's a better nickname than tin foil.

:P
?

If anyone decided to report it, they'll remove it without even looking at the question.

I dont either...perfectly sensible questions those.

ppl are gonna report this one now just for spite

I don't have a clue about why they removed it or what the questions mean . sorry

One is not a question. They delete those. The other, ?.

Well, the second one isn't a question.

They were probably tagged as "chat" question and your not allowed to make a statement that cannot have a legititamite anwser.

You might have an "enemy" on Y! that is going to your questions and reporting you. Did you tick someone off?

Yeah someone reported a question of mine. I was bored and all I asked was "Does anyone on here feel full from eating too much?" What's so offensive about that?

They probably think you are a terrorist and this is your secret message to your contacts. You should probably hide now.

The second one is not a question so its against the policy. I dont know about the first one but it is a pointless question. Someone probably reported you for wasting their time.

I don't know why the first one got removed.
The only thing I can think of for the second one is that's it's a statement, not a question.
Who knows why things get violated on here!
Some questions that I think should be aren't and some questions that I don't think should are.
So who knows?
Only the Yahoo people, I guess.

1st> Dogs are not administered polygraphs. So this question was a total waste of time and space. If you're bored, go mow the lawn or take out the trash.

2nd> This is a statement, not a question. Just because you place a question mark at the end of a statement doesn't make it a valid query. There are plenty of forums available on the web for making statements of any kind. Find one.

Lot of idiots out there who wouldn't know a joke if it bit 'em on the behind, or whose piles are obviously playing up (see answer above, oh dear). Keep 'em coming, for those of us that like a laugh.

They were perfectly sane and abnormal questions, which is the perfect mix for P&S.

I never knew you were called saran wrap. I think you are more of a sandwich bag.

There is no rhyme or reason to the violations here. Better start up a second account and start counting down the days........they are on to you!
