Why do we do such a lame thing?!
Question: Run over a string with the vacuum cleaner 12 times and when I realize the string is NOT going to be sucked up by the vacuum, I pick it up and examine it, and then throw it back onto the floor to give the vacuum one more shot at the string.
I cannot be the only person out there who does such a thing.

Yes all the time. My vaccuum nearly sucks down the whole comforter on my bed but cannot summon the strength to suck up a string either. I am beginning to wonder...
