I never watched any of them, actually. I did watch the very end of the first one with Kelly Clarkson, but they haven't produced an idol since her. I don't even see the point of the show anymore.

Yeah I am not going to watch it this year. I feel bad for the people who are made fun of on the show. Think about it: you have to go through at least three auditions BEFORE you get to see Simon, Randy and Paula where at any one of them you can eliminated (not everyone gets to audition before Simon, Paula, and Randy). This means that all the other people on the show that work behind the scenes are sending these obviously bad people through just so they will suck and make good ratings!! But imagine you think you are good and you think you have a chance because you are getting through these auditions-wouldnt you be upset and pissed to find out you are only chosen 'cause you suck? That you are the butt of a joke? Seriously, c'mon now.
i've only watched one full season, and that the first one when Kelly Clarkson won. the show is over produced and doesn't focus on talent but on ratings. proof is that they haven't produced an 'idol' since kelly. i really can't stand the auditions!!!
