no more than some of the other questions that don't get deleted. what category did you put it in. maybe that is where you made the mistake. That has happed to me where in one category it is chatting but in another it is fine.
i get violations sometimes that are for absurd reasons too...it's frustrating but oh well i guess there are other more important things in life to be concerned about so i blow it off

I asked a music trivia question and it got deleted for the same reason.... I don't really get it. Granted I titled it "who wants to play music trivia!?" but still...... *sigh*
technically, that is chatting. if you had added "yes or no" as in "yes they knew it was your birthday, no they didn't know it was your birthday" then they probably would've left it alone.
I hate that rule... almost every single question in Polls and Surveys is "chatting".... it's bull. Had you said, "Have you ever forgotten your birthday?" and then added details about forgetting yours, you wouldn't have gotten violated. What is the difference really?
