What if your Daughter or Son wanted a sex change Operation?!

Question: they would have to pay for it themselves...!!!

Answers: they would have to pay for it themselves...!!!

It's his/her life, if he/she wanted to get it done, let him/her.

I would have them wait until they were 18 then they could do what they please. I would be upset of course, but I would be supportive and let them do what makes them happy.

I would let them if they were of age and sound mind

I'd tell them to look what happened to you....

as long as they dont get bashed then go for it and as long as they were happy

i would try n talk them out of it

I would support them 100% because they are my child and I will love them no matter what

*i would freak out. i don't think i could look at them the same. that's just crazy*

It's their life

Sure. Go ahead, why not. BE HAPPY!

I respect His/Her decision, I'm alright with a sex Change Operation If they wanted one.

if that's what they want to do then they should... it would be bad To be one sex but feel like another so its best to get it done so you could feel as normal as you can.
cheers
Jo

If they go through all of the appropriate steps like counseling, hormone therapy, and living the life of the new identity, then they would have my blessing and I would gladly take care of it to make them happy and whole. I would be strong and supportive, and probably smack anyone who said anything demeaning about them. I would attend a parents' group and learn how I can be a kind and helpful parent to my new person.

I'd take them to a asylum.

well of course i would be upset at first and it would take some getting use to...but i would have to deal with it and support my child

If your daughter/son was unwillingly given a sex change operation by kidnappers, would you allow him/her to have surgery to be changed back?

Is this question really any different from your original question?

that would be weird. my son is over six feet tall. he'd be a tall daughter!!!

What if?

I'd have no problem with supporting my daughter if she came to me and told me she was transsexual; I love her for who she is.

I'd be a little surprised though; it's quite rare to have more than one transsexual person in the same family.

If my son or daughter wanted a sex change and they were of age it would not be any of my business because it is their body and their life. I would want to be the parent that offered love and support.
