Hailstones and frozen snow, even though snow is frozen too. Erm, actually, idk.
They are both frozen water, the difference is where they froze. Snow freezes up in the clouds before it starts falling, and hail starts to fall and freezes on the way down.

Oh definately snow...I just hate it when it hails, as i'm always afraid it's going to really damage my car or motorcycle...
Snow is much softer and doesn't hurt like hailstones when they hit you or your car.

Don't much care for either jo but at least snow doesn't hurt you when it comes down unlike nasty old hailstones so I'll say Snow.
