I have a hearing dog, too but she never howls at the sirens...

oh my god yes! i live across the street from a fire house and my dog howls like crazy every times the sirens go off. he runs to the front window stands up on the trim and does his thing.

just the one they sound to take cover if a tornado was spotted in the area.
police, fire and EMS don't seem to bother them.

No but my neighbors dogs do. I think it is funny. Do you think they are howling because they seen there owners get taken away before. Love, honey

No - Our firehouse dog "Axe" love to ride in the engine or the ladder truck . Most of the time he ride up frount with me. But remember most Dalmatians tone deaf to high pitchs.
Haven't got any dogs jo...only cats and they don't.
