Do you tend to over think? And does it turn out to be a good or bad thing?!

Question: I over think all the time and usually it's not a good thing....:(

Answers: I over think all the time and usually it's not a good thing....:(

When you over-do anything, it usually turns out to be a bad thing. Even thinking.

Yeah I do! I also tend to under think. I'm a mess!

i just do what comes to mind. usually for the best

I don't know now.. you got my thinking it through..

yup... normaly turns out better...

Owwww...My head hurts from trying to come up with the proper answer 2 this ?.

Yes I do. It's not really good or bad.

especially when you alr4eady made a decision and then your like no thats not the right one and then you chooses that one and an hour later your like crap i shoulda stuck with the first one

yeah.
i tend to analyze lots of things.
so i always think of conclusions''//
and they are never good

Well, when our world and especially schools and colleges train us to overthink, how can we help but NOT to?

Common sense.

Ultimately, it's actually a good thing.

By the way, you're cute!

hehe.sorry.

Bye now :-P

I always tend to overthink and it tends to turn out bad :( But sometimes I feel lucky that I thought ahead and avoid a bad situation.

yes, I tend to over-analyze everything. It can be bad because I can misinterpret things by over thinking them when it really was something simple.

Depends what I'm thinking about. When I took my history final I over thought a lit of my answers and I think that I got a lot of them wrong, which is a bad thing.

Yes and both

Of course! It gets really annoying. I over think and over analyze every little thing.

overthink a lot, but recently i been so exhausted, i underthink.
and i think that neither is ideal behavior, lol

I do this all the time. it's all part of my obsessive nature. It's a really bad things at times... considering I worry myself into panic attacks frequently. I obsess over cancer. But I tend to just worry about everything and over think it all...

It's bad... very bad.

over thinking is a bad thing imo...always try the easiest solution first then build your way up...IOW, you do not want to replace a transmission in your vehicle, if all you need is a tune-up..it's costly and inneffecient!

I think everything over very well and it usually turns out to be a good thing.

i analyze things too much! and its not always a good thing...

Yea, it goes both ways

No, but I know someone who does.

Its so annoying! ;)

It was always a bad idea when taking tests and it made my social life unexpectedly complex in High School - I worked so hard to figure out what to do, I would end up doing something that was obviously wrong. Now I think I trust my instincts more.

lol. I over think way too much.
: /

I do over think a lot of things.

But it's for the better. I generate many ideas when I over think.

And if it's not a good thing, I can always stop myself. I don't let it get too far.

most times and 50% of the time turns out good.

Yup i tend to overthink everything, i am known as a 'thinker' by my friends lol. I feel where you are comming from saying it's not a good thing, at times I agree with you. If I'm worried or excited I tend to lay in bed all night thinking and not being able to sleep, then upside of that is thinking a lot about everything you learn so much and explore so many possabilitys that other people don't. In that way I find it to be an overall positive thing because of everything i have learn from overthinking and exploring things in my head.
On the negative side of it..whenever I'm over excited now or stressing I plan what I can do in my head reguarding that event and get it sorted as much as possible so I can chill which usually works, or else I vent in my diary to clear my head.

Usually, its best to follow 'first instinct'...!!!
But, good hard thinking can reassure what you want to do...!!!

to me i have to re-think which is bad-matey.

Analytical thinking is rare enough to be a sought after employment skill. The down-side is it takes longer to complete a finished project. But, the upside is that your work product is always perfect. And, it enables you to present compelling arguments, whenever it suits your purpose.

To answer your question, non-analytical-thinkers can find it very irritating. But, I find it's given me an edge. And, when you befriend another analytical thinker, conversation is a whole lot of fun.

yea
