Homemade mashed potatoes are YUMMY. The flakes from the box are gross.
being irish, I must say that potatoes are a great side dish to ANY main dish. There are more than 50 ways to cook potatoes and each one is delicious. You can't say that about any other food.
you can mould it into a volcano shape and when you pour baked beans in it makes a pyroclastic flow......educational as well as yummy!!!!!
