It probably means that you are stressed over something, that is what weird dreams usually mean. Either that or the fact that you are really nervous or anxious.
I've been having weird dreams too. I had a dream that I was at this weird neighbor hood and two of my random friends were there and we all dropped our cell phones in the middle of a lake and we couldn't get it out unless we swam to the middle of the lake, grabbed the phones, and swam back to the land before the alligator/tiger mixed animal things ate our toes off.

usually dreams are based on real life events, or at least things that you think about often. part of it may be that you are trying to run away from someone/thing, and one of the ways you do that is to disguise as something that no one sees in passing.
now about the ear piercing thing....
