Out of curiosity . . . . . .?!
Question: Do you eat meat, yet oppose hunting? I'd be interested in knowing why, I eat meat and I dont mind taking it myself as opposed to hiring a butcher to do it for me. The animals my family eats have never been fed steroids, never been shot full of antibiotics, never been crammed into a slaughterhouse. No cropland was taken out of production to feed them. If you are vegan, I sincerely respect your commitment. I dont agree for myself but I would never try and force somenone else to do as I do. Where has the concept of personal choice gone?

i eat meat, i just think its sad when people shoot deers cause they are so graceful,cute, and dont bother a thing really.
No I don't eat meat -- just don't like it, can't stand any harm to animals. So the thought of shooting one and then being happy as you watch it die is sick. Now when it comes to a person I have no problem watching. Faces of Death was fine to watch till it came to the animals, then I walked away.
I'm going to be honest without being disrespectful, I think that happens on here waaay too much...
OK, I love to eat meat, & there is nothing wrong with people hunting to put food on their table if they can't afford to buy the meat that is all very readily available to us. Yes I know that these are animals too, and that they are treated poorly.
I disagree with hunting when the only reason it is done is for sport...Killing a beautiful animal just to amuse our need to hunt down & kill something to hang on their wall or stuff it for a trophy.
Why is it fun to kill? That's what I don't understand.
Your right about the fact about if you don't agree with someone you wouldn't expect them to push their beleifs on you, so how ever many thumbs down this answer gets isn't going to change my position one bit. I love animals and killing them just for the sake of killing is wrong.
