I don't think you have lost the ability to answer questions. Perhaps you are not familiar with the questions you are be asked. Consider seeing a specialist to determine if there is a reason you get nervous and are unable to responds to questions.
Blame it on the writers strike.

No, they are just resting, getting ready to spring forth in abundance. When the time is right they will attack all unsuspecting questions and tear them to shreds.
tis just writers block,similar to writers cramp,but located in the brain as opposed to the hand.
They're in there old school just let your mind be blank,quit trying to strain so hard that will make you fart too,just wait the answers will appear like magic. If this does not help then you need to sleep on it the answers will be back after a nap.
