My carwash idea for motor cycles has not been successful. Why?!
Question: It's really all in the marketing. You have an excellent concept. However you need to perhaps expand upon your services.
While every biker wants to have a shiny ride, which of course your wash will insure, there are additional services (extras) you may want to promote.
Mini tooth brushes and toothpaste to remove those pesky bugs from their teeth. Probably $2.00 with a profit of $1.50.
Armor-All treatment for the leather jackets. I expect you could charge at least $6.00.
Maybe a full body spray down? With scent to give them that "new body" smell.
One thought may be for the "mommas". An aromatic douche. Just a thought.

You should look into advertising your service. Maybe at a motorcycle shop or popular biker bar. This will help spread the word and gain you a larger customer base. The most important aspect of a new business venture is growth.
The majority of people with motorcycles see them as an extension of thier penis...They like to hand wash them themselves.:) Seriuosly though, no one can do as good a job as them with their pride an joy. Service business work when you provide a service that people dislike doing themselves. Like unblocking toilets :P

Oh,I don't know..maybe they don't want their weekely shower.. maybe they like their motorcycles dirty.. or maybe they just don't want soap in their eyes.
well i assume you have half naked women doing the job so maybe get them all the way naked and definatly use the best cleaning products available (Bike Brite)
could be a number of things really. maybe you live in an area where there is not high enough need for a motorcycle car wash. maybe if you tried it in the city, in the summertime when alot of bikers come out.
sometimes, its like, the same with pilot tv shows. they dont always succeed althought they are good shows. i would think a carwash like that, specifically for motorcycles would be a great idea.
but sometimes, it just doesnt pick up right aways. some things need a lot of time and effort.
