Because they have the money to say how they want to say.
They have a pretense of sophistication. In Beverly Hills, they cringe at anything that they consider low-brow, such as a rodeo, so they pronounce it differently to distinguish the drive from something so 'riff-raff'.

Because everywhere besides Beverly Hills IS normal. They however, are not.
I have often wondered the same thing....it is a sea of plastic surgery faces there.....but a good looking man could make a killing....

CAUSE it's Beverly Hills and they have their own language.
Cause it's an attempt to separate themselves from all of us common folk in the rest of the world. If you ask me they can have their Row-day-o drive. If I ever have the opportunity to go there, which it's WAY down the list of places I'd like to visit, I am going to stop people left and right and ask them if they can tell me how to get to 3455 Ro-dee-o Drive just to piss them off.
They do not want to be associated with all the bull. Even though the prices for the retail are crap. lol.
