growing up we moved so much I had a handle on most accents, I had a teacher believing I was from New York for a few months one time
another school I pretended to be french. they found out at a parent teacher meeting, luckily we moved again not too long after that one

no. im a country hick redneck from the hills of tennessee. every accent i try to do sounds terrible. kind of like dolly parton mixed with enrique iglesias.

I am not. LOL There are times I wish I could imitate other accents, not to deceive but just for fun. Unfortunately, I am from Los Angeles and no matter where I've lived, I still have the LA accent. :)
I can pull off a Scottish one. Being born there and all. When I get together with family it comes out naturally.

Best way to fit in is to try and sound the same. (and look the same) You fit in and you make many local friends.
They teach you more than any book, magazine or classroom ever can. Soon you learn plenty about the culture, fashion, style, trends, music > The less you stick out try to be different the more you will learn and expand your mind.
