Why do the BEST people in our lives leave us so soon & die?!
Question: Today, it would've been the singer Aaliyah's (RIP) 29th b-day. Earlier this morning was the 1st time I ACTUALLY broke down & cried over her loss. When I 1st heard the news of her death back in '01, I was so shocked I COULDN'T cry! I went to her vigil last yr. in NYC, but couldn't make it today. I wish I would've gotten the opportunity to meet her. I feel like I lost a sister. I'm still hurt & touched, like as if she was my blood family member. I was listening to her music, & she REALLY can sing, & she can DANCE! She was 1 of those people who loved what she did & didn't care about money, as long as she can entertain others & make them happy. BTW, I tried to make my avatar look as much like her as I can for today. She liked Egypt, so I put an Egyptian background. Do you think I did a good job on making the avatar look like her? It is like the quote "Truly, people come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Take no one for granted and embrace all equally with JOY... we never know when we may meet God!"
i think that happens because God needs the good people with Him.He wants to bring back all the good people so he could have them

Though her death is tragic, it hurts even more when those closest to us in our personal lives pass away.
My sister was a big fan as well like you are! But honey she may have been great but there is someone greater and that's God and that's where she is!

it's sad but it happens every single day all over the world. hopefully it's a long time before you have to really experience what it feels like to lose an actual family member.
i dont know but ive asked myself that to. my grand mother died the day before my 9th birthday. the last thing i heard from her is i promise that nothing in the world will stop me from seeing you tommarrow at your birthday. that night she died. soon after i found out she was taking weight loss pills and she thought she was fat(she was cute chubby! not fat) . i thought from then on it was my fault. i think heaven is home. so when you die your not leaving home, your GOING home.
BEST people? Thats debatable but c'est la vie-- we win some we loose some.
It seems to be so, but even if they touch our lives for a short time then we have been blessed. Looking back at my life (63 years) it seems only yesterday that I met my beloved Gwenneth and a very short time that she was with me (42 years).
Remember and weep, our souls are cleansed by doing this.

It is sad, especially when so many cruel people in the world are still alive. God chooses when he takes us home. I assure you that her spirit is at peace in heaven. She did well when she was on earth and will do great things in the new Heavens and Earth.
