How do you get rid of a song that's stuck in your head?!

Question: I downloaded Christina Aguilera's "Save Me From Myself" and it's just stuck in my head and won't come out. Save me, someone. Tell me your tricks for dislodging a stuck song.

  • listen to another song!

hmm i usually listen to it again that helps me

    nice question
i get that a lot but i cant find a solution

listen to a better song that will get stuck in your head.

listen to another song...like that guy from american idol last night....the song was called brothers forever!

thats the 10 million dollar question it too well pass

    replace it with another song

Replace that by listening to another song that you want to get stuck in your head.

Bang your head three times against the wall, count to 44, backwards and cough 4 times, followed by 2 aspirin and a tall glass of water. Call me in the morning!

Turn on the radio and get another song stuck in your head.

    Start singing other songs.

get another song stuck in your head

try singing a different song, usually helps me.

ALL above answers are lame. Do we have a lot of idiots in Yahoo or wut?

Usually playing that same song over and over again will eventually lead you to get tired of it

Or just sing it out loud and that will get it off your chest

Listen to that song and sing along or listen to another song. Good luck. LOL :-)

    listen and sing another song

Replace it with something else. (Not the song, you silly.)

LOL, I'm sorry to hear that. LOL. Is the song that bad? (I never heard it before) Anyhow, listen to classical music--as ridiculous as this might sound (not that I think it is ridiculous) it actually helps some people. Good luck! ;)

Sing it over and over until your throut gets sore.
Or listen to some songs you hate.

Complete the song in your head from beginning to the absolute end - to the very last note. For some reason, when the song is done, the cycle usually breaks.

    Good luck!

It only goes away when it is replaced by another song that will annoy you just as much

Aside from a leaf blower, I suggest you just keep listening to
as much music as you can until it's obliterated or replaced
by another song that you don't mind being in there.

It could be worse. You could have "Kumbaya" or "I Will Survive" or even Alicia Keys' "No One" stuck there.

So, is it gone now? =)
