If at all possible,I would remove my child to another seat away from them.If not, then it will make for a good conversation with said child as an example of what rude sounds like and how it feels, when off the bus please.
Confronting is the drivers department unless I am threatened,my job is keeping the child safe, not controlling others.

Ask them to stop!

No I would kindly ask them to keep it G rated.

I wouldn't do anything. With the way kids these days swear, my kids would probably know more bad words than the person who is swearing in front of me.

Tell them to stop. If they won't, move. You don't need to put up with that.

seriously, ill excuse myself and move away, if that is not possible, ill ask her to stop it.

I would kind of expect that from the bus crowd.

ask to stop

i would cover ears

Tell them to stop. But politely.

Tell them to stop. Thats obnoxious

ignore. I don't want to deal with an upset stranger. know what I mean?

I would ask that passenger to observe that being in a public place one must behave in an acceptable & civilised manner

i would ask them to stop and if they didn't i would throw my babies dirty diaper at their face

It would depend, do you care if your child swears or not? If you do not want your child exposed to this type of impropriety you should ask the person politely to watch their language in presence of children.
Have a great day!

move to another set....and tell the kid not to listen to that person...some people are just like that...then on your way out mentioned it to the driver....

Move..or ask them to stop if they don't seem crazy or threatening.

as much as I'd love to wash their mouth out with mustard and excrement, who knows how stable they are? theyd probably threaten you with violence or swear even more.

best just to ignore it, and loudly explain to your child how bad swearing is. only white trash people swear constantly, it makes you sound nasty and cheap.

Inform the driver and let him take care of it.

ask them to stop and point out that there are children on the bus
