Hey Steve I think you should keep this one as long as you can.
Since my revelation awhile back that most of the friends I thought I had here weren't real,I have become isolated and afraid. Some have thought they were justified in creating this illusion,all it did for me was instill a feeling of distrust.
It's not healthy and I could care less if those responsible ever connect with me again. I will change as much as I like, unless people start to be honest. I lost, but so did they,

Strangely, my favourite contacts do not do that.

My contacts keep changing their names to avoid me. They can only handle so much wuvable ickle bickle fwuffy wuffy bear.
No it doesn't irritate me just drives me nuts trying to figure out who they used to be especially one of the more recently added contacts. If they've been with me for a while then it's pretty easy to figure out. I have 40 contacts so sometimes hard to remember who they used to be.
No- it's a free country- they have the right to be creative and expressive with their names and avatars if they feel that desire.
Variety is the spice of life, some get bored with the ones they had, others change them to avoid trolls. I thrive on changing mine.
So if I am one of your contacts and my changing my name or avatar annoys you, I apologize but you can either get used to that fact about me or remove me from your contacts list. :)
Though I would hope I have picked the kind of contacts who would not drop me over my creative side.
If I see one I don't recognize on my list I will politely email them and ask who they are. :)
Life is too short to be getting annoyed over such trivial issues.

My first reaction is to block but since appearing as though I have a lot friends is very, very important to me, I don't.
No, not at all. When I first opened my email I thought "who the heck is this?' but then there was that same contact sitting right where he'd always been, in my contact list, just looking a little different.. I like the photo!.
Not annoyed, concerned. Usually people go around changing avatar and name in a desperate effort to avoid a stalker that keeps reporting them. It's often done in the hopes of avoiding a suspension.
I did that with my last account, changed from Fyre & Reign to "Angel of Fyre" with an angel avatar but it didn't work and I still got suspended.
I don't mind. Anyhow, I knew you right away :P

Then I figured it must be you as I didn't see you anymore.
Change is good..no warning was needed..if you know who your contacts are, one would catch on eventually.

No as i have did it my self long ago.if your not sure who they are when they change go to your stats and find your contacts and then you'll see where there at on the page ' and it helps put a picture on the new avatar 'PS i like your new avatar and name ...
