If you were sick...?!

Question: would you rather be cared for by an R.N. or an L.P.N.???

Answers: would you rather be cared for by an R.N. or an L.P.N.???

It don't make a difference. I've met some pretty stupid RN's.
In fact I had one of those when I gave birth to my third child. That lady was by far the dumbest I have seen in the medical field!! I dunno how she got her degree! Must have screwed around, cuz she got no knowledge -squat!

R.N.

An RN would come more expensively, but would be better qualified to handle a vast array of illnesses.

R.N.

RN

R.N.

RN-they have more training and education

R.N

RD

Um, we basically do the same thing. And there is a shortage of nurses. So bring in an LPN (which is what I am training to be) or an RN, whichever is available, as long as she/he is knowledgeable and attentive to my needs.

By the way, I work alongside RNs, and I have the same duties and types of patients that they do. Big deal, an RN went to college and took some bullshit courses to get a degree, while an LPN went to a technical school and skipped taking English and History. That doesn't mean an RN is more competent.

RN because it sounds more professional and i've hever heard of LPN before

Either one as far as I am concerned? They both have had the proper training.

r.n. cuz idk what a lpn is

LPN the seem to be a bit more younger and caring

Could I have an MD or a DO please? If not, I would rather have the LPN, because some RNs, in my experience, tend to forget they are NOT a Doctor. (I asked an RN once, if I could speak with the doctor; her response was bitter and cutting: She said, "he is going to tell you the same thing I did. I know what I'm doing.") The LPNs at the local hospital are more responsive; where, I find, the RNs tend to respond with an "oh bother" attitude.

RN my brother is one.

I don't know what L.P.N. stands for, but if I would be sick and needed help, I wouldn't care if my neighbor would came over and helped me. It really doesn't matter what's on paper, what matters is, how competent and compassionate that individual person is. People have been taking care of people and they are not a R.N.'s, so it really doesn't matter. Someone, can have a degree in anything, but still, it doesn't mean that that person is good at it when it comes to practicing what they have learned.
