I am a piano player and a science fiction writer, but I haven't sold very many CD's and I don't make any money with my science fiction, so I have a full-time job on the side in water recycling.

I do volunteer work at the homeless shelter, and since I live there, I save on gas
I do the thankless dirty work of our government and foreign policy makers. The job that nobody wants to do but everyone needs me to do. I'm a Soldier.
By day I'm a transportation planner for the state of California and by night I'm a private practice attorney.

Ive also recently gone back to work part time as a research scientist now that my kids are older.
I am a financial planner.... I create & manage wealth...
I also teach personal finance ( Adult Ed ) I love teaching... one of the most favorite & rewarding things I do...
I also sit on the board for a local charity that gives aid & shelter to victims of child abuse here in South Florida....
My plate is definitely full, but I would not have it any other way!

I am a clinical therapist dealing with a variety of issues, mainly marriage counseling.
I am NOW an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree who is going BACK to College for FUN (And to Stay ACTIVE in mind, body, and spirit).
BEFORE That time ... I SERVED my country in the Military (and Honorably Retired), I am an Accountant, Cost/Price Estimator, Program/Contract Manager .. and these careers were based on my EARNED UGrad and Grad Degrees. At the time of all this .. I was a Long Term Single Parent (to two children with disabilities) -- and I HAD to be the responsible one -- because the ex (from the short disaster of a marriage and their father) was abusive, violent -- and was convicted of abusing them while they were toddlers (and never complied with the divorce decree or child support orders).
So .. even now as a Retiree ... I do NOT stay 'home' much -- I Volunteer, I attend classes at the local College, I travel by car to visit my siblings, I am Renovating MY HOME my SELF .. and I enjoy just being a very active woman!
