i read the first book to my daughter when she was 8 or so.
we laughed, it was hilarious.
i didn't like it when rowlings came out AFTER the book and all the movies were made to say, Oh by the way that one main character, he was gay.
Not that I care if he was gay, just as an author, what kid of crap is that to do 'after' the fact.
Then Rat-fink-radcliffe had to go off and play a young man who has a pathological religious/sexual infatuation with horses, and blinds six horses with a hoof pick because he couldnt get an erection while the boy was in the barn with a girl. Also masturbates naked on a horse.
This is almost as bad as mary poppins doing a topless scene in a later movie. How dare she.
