Poll: Why do some people still delude themselves with thinking that America'!

Question: I understand most of us in the world have national pride for our own country and/or people. Plus people are naturally envious of the richer and/or more powerful then they are. So aside from all that. Strictly speaking, if the US did not enter World War 2, the map of Europe would have been very different today and that goes without saying.

England depended on our help, military and economic, so did Russia and other parts of Europe. Doubtfull that Germany could have concoured the world, unless they have nuclear bombs first. England and Frances miliary might lay in tatters and other parts were spread out and tied down in various locations throughout the world. Japan was marching on England's forces in Asia and winning too.

Because they are ignorant fools. Maybe they should pay a visit to the military cemeteries in Normandy (as an example). I am ashamed when people in my country refuse to recognize the importance of America's help. But it is ideological and not historical.

this is polls and serveys, go to the war section

Germany was well on their way to making a nuclear bomb, and so were the Japanese. Over all i doubt Germany even with nuclear weapons could take over the world. But I think any one who says the world was not in need of America's help in the conflict is just jealous of Americas importance in the world.

But why ask this here?

Regardless of ones opinion of the US, I'd say that the Normandy landing had a lot to do with Germany's defeat - and the two big f'n bombs dropped on Japan MAY have have been the reason for their surrender.
