7-The saddest "state" of affairs I know of is the economy in the great lakes state of Michigan!! The auto industry has been decimated by foreign imports, the construction business is in it's seasonal lull, the new housing construction has come full circle, shipping industry is closed for the season and the list could go on and on! Even those who are willing and able to work for a minimum wage are having difficulty finding employment!!
