This question is for NERDS only....?!

Question: ...take 2---guess Yahoo didn't like my post....

How can the Federation engineers improve the efficiency of the Bussard Ramscoop's on the starship nacels---? Is the current design flawed and if so, how would YOU redesign the configuration (magnetic coils, use of less dense alloys, etc).

And before anyone decides to post smarta$$ answers...just remember...I do have a supreme sense of humor...lol.

Some of the most amazing engineering feats are unexplainable. "It works because it works" has a common place application in the reality. For example, no one knows why a toilet can't flush without an antivortex (that sub-chamber "hole" in the bottom of the bowl.) It just needs it and no one knows why.
With out working knowlege of the ficticious technology, make believe designs are impossible to put on performance charts. Theory fails more in testing, and actual experimentation is the master developer of design.

i think i am having a blonde moment right now.... are you speaking english?

edit :::?????????????????? i really REALLY dont get it now

Sorry, I'm a Star Wars fan, not a Star Trek fan. So I have no clue what you are talking about! =)
