I agree that he's lost his appeal. He now comes across as a religious fanatic and that's such a turn off. Now, I couldn't care less if I watch a movie with him in it; and I definitely avoid having to listen to any interviews of him.

In my opinion he was cool ten seconds before he started making Mission Impossible 1 and stopped being cool once shooting on the film ended. Most of his movies are kind of dumb. Top gun... psh.
